PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities at the PSC or in-office PST. You will collect specimens, explain the process to patients, and ensure accurate data entry and documentation.

The role requires attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety and privacy standards. Responsibilities include greeting customers, collecting specimens, labeling, storing, and transporting samples, and maintaining records.

Formación

• Experience in phlebotomy or blood collection.
• Attention to detail in data entry and specimen labeling.

Responsabilidades

• Greets customers appropriately.
• Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and explains the venipuncture process clearly.
• Disposes of biohazard materials per laws and policies.
• Completes requisitions in PathConnect and other PathGroup systems.
• Enters patient and billing information accurately into computer systems.
• Maintains daily logs and records for PSC/IOPST.
• Performs electronic data entry and basic clerical duties.
