Job summary

MindLance in New Jersey seeks a Patient Services Representative I to be the friendly face for patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood with care and accuracy. The role requires following established practices, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting lab workflows with precise sample handling.

Under supervision, you will perform daily tasks, keep organized records, and uphold a safe, professional environment while delivering quality service and building patient trust.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills for pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience; customer service in retail/service environment preferred; keyboard/data entry required.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients in a safe, accurate, and confidential manner.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Provide patient education and respond to questions with empathy.
• Maintain required records and perform data entry as needed.
