Job summary

HopeWest in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Nurse Manager for Patient Services to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Float Pool and After-Hours teams, ensuring staffing resources support patient care across hospice and palliative services.

The role oversees recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, competency management, and retention of staff, partnering with clinical leaders to meet staffing needs and promote workforce flexibility.

Qualifications

• RN license in Colorado required.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• CHPN certification or must obtain within two years of employment.
• Experience leading staffing operations and float pool personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for Float Pool and After-Hours teams.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and competency management.
• Lead performance development and retention initiatives.
