Job summary

HopeWest is seeking a Float RN for Montrose Community Hospice to cover Friday–Monday shifts with a flexible schedule and a weekend differential. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for ASN/BSN pay scales, with care provided in patients’ homes, nursing homes, and other settings.

Responsibilities include symptom management, teaching patients and caregivers, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, relationship-based care.

Float RN – Montrose Community Hospice | Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (plus one additional day of the week) 8am-5pm| $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Schedule: see above, with occasional on-call requirement
Location: Montrose, Colorado
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Pay Range: Weekend differential of $5/hr for Sat-Sun
ASN: $35.02–$38.75/hour
BSN: $36.20–$40.05/hour

What You Bring:

• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in home health, hospice, or acute care strongly preferred
• Current Colorado RN license maintained throughout employment
• Current CPR certification maintained throughout employment
• Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate emotional or high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion
• Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications
