Job summary

Shenandoah Oncology is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to lead front-office operations and a patient-focused team. You will oversee patient registration, cashiering, and records management while ensuring a welcoming, efficient experience for every patient.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, process improvement, and managing daily financial and operational tasks to support exceptional patient care. Strong healthcare leadership and collaboration with the network are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a healthcare field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare settings is required.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the front desk (patient registration/cashier) and records management.
• Supervises reconciliation of cash bags daily with fee tickets and arranges for cash pick-up with cash management office.
• Resolves patient inquiries, complaints, or concerns regarding accounts or interactions with staff.
• Reviews and manages budget analysis.
• Runs necessary reports for staff to complete responsibilities.
• Communicates with patient management on operational status for scheduling appointments.
• Reviews and manages merging of patient accounts in the clinical information system.
• Reconciles monthly operations account, processes requests for records and subpoenas, and orders office supplies.
• Supervises staff front office.
• Other duties may be assigned or modified as business needs dictate.
