Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a Lead Patient Services Representative to maintain clinic workflow, supervise PSRs, and drive patient experience improvements. The role includes coaching, training, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations across scheduling, registration, and billing coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in patient services, strong communication, EMR experience, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ patient services experience within medical/dental office required.
• Two years’ experience with EMR and multi-line phones preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides functional direction to assigned PSRs, including scheduling assignments, coordinating workflows, and assigning priorities.
• Maintains courteous relations with patients and staff, responds to appointments/front desk complaints and problems.
• Acts as liaison between billing office and site.
• Trains and orients new hires to standard protocols, policies, and procedures in the clinic.
• Supports management with monitoring team performance and facilitating training.
• Engages with patients to schedule appointments and obtain information for priority scheduling.
