Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Team Lead to manage a front-office team in a radiology center in California. You will train staff, coordinate schedules, greet patients, verify insurance data, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining high-quality patient service.

You will also liaise with physicians, handle registrations and billing-related tasks, and support center operations through meetings and process improvements to deliver efficient, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Patient Service Representative in a radiology center.
• High school diploma required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills, problem solving, and ability to build and maintain a strong team environment.
• Dynamic and knowledgeable leadership attribute.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of employees.
• Provide training, inspiration, and guidance to the team to help each employee develop their potential.
• Help coordinate work schedules, oversee front office operations, and assist in interviewing candidates for front office positions.
• Relieve staff for vacation and sick-time coverage.
• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Act as liaison between physicians and patients.
• Register patients, collect insurance information, obtain signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Verify and update patient/physician/insurance data for billing; collect co-pays.
• Answer phones and schedule patients.
• Explain steps to patients and answer questions.
• Notify team members of patient arrival and coordinate with back-office staff for timely care.
• Participate in meetings and lead projects to support operations and quality care.
• Safeguard patient property and health information; manage on-site medications per policy.
