Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Patient Service Representative for our Langhorne, PA clinic. The role involves patient check-in, updating personal and insurance information, managing a multi-line phone system, medical records filing, and collecting co-pays and payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products
• Distributes mail
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
