Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a qualified individual to process referrals and support Dimensions super-user functions in a medical office setting in Charlotte, NC. A high school diploma or GED and at least three years of medical office experience are required.

Candidate must be adept with EPIC, CPT and ICD-9-CM coding, and capable of handling changing priorities with excellent communication and teamwork in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: Three years of experience in a medical office setting, required.
• Other related experience may be considered in lieu of medical office experience.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating patient demographic information, posting charges, copays, and scheduling patient appointments.
• Understanding of CPT and ICD9-CM coding processes.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with changing priorities.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority.
