Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage the front desk during check in/out and deliver a personalized patient experience. Training is provided to learn about optics and the industry, enabling you to support patients effectively.

This role reports to the Office General Manager and may require some weekend and evening shifts. You will verify insurance options, confirm appointments, answer calls, greet visitors, and collaborate with the team to ensure highest quality vision care

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role with admin tasks.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure with high service quality.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, caring, patient-centered, thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Team player, collaborates to provide best patient experience.
• Computer savvy with strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify options.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments.
• Cross train to other office support roles as needed (varies by office needs).
• Collaborate with doctors and team to provide seamless patient experience.
