You may occasionally cover other practice locations as needed. The role emphasizes compassionate customer service, accurate data entry, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Schedules appointments and enters necessary information for patient scheduling into the computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information during registration and processes patient admissions.
• Explains financial options to patients and collects payments; reconciles cash at the end of the day.
• May cover other physician practice locations as needed.
