Job summary

HealthPartners Riverway Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Clinic Assistant to join our Primary Care team. You will be the friendly first contact for patients and help manage check-in, scheduling, and basic clerical tasks to support high-quality care.

You will verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, coordinate referrals, and assist with a range of administrative duties to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive experience for families.

Qualifications

• Prior clinic experience preferred.
• New hires should be organized and able to prioritize.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and promptly.
• Check in patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Answer phones and relay messages; support clerical duties.
• Maintain waiting area and ensure a clean, organized workflow.
• Process forms, scans, and records in Epic when applicable.
• Support care teams with patient flow and documentation.
