Job summary

Proliance Surgeons seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the face of the practice, greeting patients and coordinating appointments with physicians and staff. You will verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure accurate patient records in the PM system and EMR, while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The role supports a busy clinic, requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years of front-desk medical experience, and offers a 36–40 hour workweek with potential for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical clinic or surgical office (required).
• Experience with a busy front desk, multitasking and organization.
• Paper charts experience is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Schedule and verify patient appointments, insurance eligibility, and referrals.
• Check in/new patient verification, update forms and records in PM software/EMR.
• Collect co-pays, coinsurance and balances due; coordinate with clinical team.
