Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience in a medical / billing / fiscal or customer service function is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems is preferred.
• Experience with PC-based applications and typing skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
• Assist patients with self-arrival technology or desk check-in.
• Collect copayments and other payments at the point of service.
• Schedule follow-up appointments within the continuum of care.
• Connect patients to financial advocacy resources as needed.
