• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures and complete documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation for safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications.
• Protect cash and patient financial information on-site or portals.
