Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic radiology office workflow is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills for scheduling and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and fees, log transactions.
• Answer or transfer incoming calls and help callers promptly.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide orientation on preparatory and safety protocols and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Safeguard medications on site per policy and law.
• Protect cash and patient data on-site and on portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in clinical settings.
• Establish and nurture cooperative working relationships.
