Job summary

Talentify is hiring a Patient Service Representative to greet and register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will work with back-office staff to ensure accurate documentation and patient care while safeguarding PHI and medications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and experience in customer service, with knowledge of medical terminology preferred for radiology office

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation for preparatory and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information; handle medications per policy.
• Protect cash and patient financial information on site or portals; maintain professional behavior.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
