Job summary

Patient First is seeking a Front Desk/Patient Services role at our Maryland Odenton center. You will register patients, assist with billing questions, and support clinicians by coordinating patient flow with warmth and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year clerical experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Center coverage may be required, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to work at any center to cover staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Handle billing information and educate on insurable vs non-insurable charges.
• Register patients accurately with strong customer service.
• Verify demographic, health, pharmacy, and insurance data.
• Perform cash handling and issue receipts.
• Answer calls and distribute messages in a timely manner.
