Job summary

UPMC Renaissance Family Practice, Hampton OP Center is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative. The role runs Monday through Friday with daylight hours (7:30am–4:00pm or 8:00am–4:30pm) and no evenings or weekends, supporting patient check-in, education on financial obligations, and appointment scheduling.

You will welcome patients, assist with self-arrival technology, collect copayments, verify insurance, and help patients navigate the MyUPMC portal for a smooth, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Welcomes patients and explains self-arrival technologies and portal tools.
• Educates patients on copayments and financial obligations and collects payments when applicable.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and refers to financial advocacy resources as needed.
• Verifies and updates patient demographics and insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm greeting for all patients and guides for self-check-in.
• Collect copayments and other patient payments at the point of service.
• Register or update patient information and schedule follow-ups at checkout.
• Direct calls, route to appropriate areas, and support administrative tasks.
