Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a per diem Customer Service/Clinic Receptionist to support patient registration, scheduling, and information flow in a busy clinic. You will input demographics into the EMR, collect payments, answer calls, and help keep the office organized.

Onsite schedule, approximately 20 hours per week, day shifts. High school diploma required; medical clerical experience preferred to aid patient care and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical clerical experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home or insurance agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic and financial information and input into EMR and other applications.
• Answer and relay calls, provide routine instructions for patient visits.
• Schedule meetings, patients, and appointments; maintain calendars.
• Collect cash receipts and ensure daily balanced deposits.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and housekeeping duties.
