Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education desirable.
• One to three years of health care experience; computer experience and knowledge of medical billing preferred.
• Must be willing to obtain medical terminology within one year in the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing, collecting, and accounts receivable processing.
• Handle billing inquiries for Hospital and Clinic.
• Cover hospital patient registrations, switchboard functions, and cashier duties.
• Process referrals, posting charges, insurance payments, refunds and adjustments.
