Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring Branch Coordinators to support patients and caregivers by phone and in person, ensuring timely, accurate order processing and billing documentation to support insurance claims.

You will collaborate with the branch team, providers, and patients to resolve inquiries, collect payments, and manage documentation. The role emphasizes patient-focused service and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Healthcare setting or call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system and provide information, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with branches and departments.
• Process branch orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorizations per payor guidelines, manage faxes and data entry.
• Collect documentation for insurance billing from referrals and patients; obtain health plan information as needed; electronically or verbally request authorizations.
• Review patient accounts and bill health insurance plans; maximize benefits and expedite care.
