Job summary

Advocate Health’s AMG Chicago Kedzie site is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join a busy ambulatory care team. You’ll support reception, scheduling, coding, registration and billing, helping ensure accurate patient records and timely payments.

The role requires 40 hours weekly, with shifts ranging 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Mon-Thu and 7:00 AM–5:00 PM Fri, plus one Saturday per month. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related customer service experience are expected, with bilingual

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult caller/patients.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services: assist with appointments, information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals.
• Enter billing information at time of service and ensure follow-up on missing information.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
