Job summary

Jefferson Health in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Patient Services Associate II to enhance the patient experience by processing arrivals and departures, verifying insurance and demographics, and coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations as needed.

You will use EPIC for scheduling, check-in/out, maintain HIPAA compliance, and preserve an efficient clinic flow while delivering a courteous Jefferson Experience to patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate courteously with patients/visitors and support a positive Jefferson Experience.
• Ability to multitask while managing a time-sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Processes check in/check out, scheduling via EPIC.
• Obtains pre-certifications/pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient practice flow and escalates concerns as needed.
• Greets and assists patients/visitors in person or by phone.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
