Women's Healthcare Associates, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Patient Service Representative for our Portland, OR clinic. You will welcome patients, schedule appointments, collect co-pays and answer phones while providing friendly, accurate information about insurance benefits and procedures.

In this role you will verify eligibility, post balances, prepare payment batches, and support clinicians and staff with scheduling needs. A high school diploma and medical office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices.

Responsibilities

• Answers basic questions about insurance benefits and verifies information.
• Schedules return appointments and procedures; reschedules as needed.
• Answers overflow calls and assists with scheduling; posts balances and reconciles deposits.
• Verifies eligibility, benefits and obtains authorizations for procedures.
• Addresses patient complaints and coordinates with supervision as needed.
