Job summary

Women's Healthcare Associates, LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to greet patients, manage check-ins, answer calls, and serve as the first reassuring voice patients hear. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience required, medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person or on the telephone.
• Check-in patients and manage front desk operations when appropriate.
• Record and collect co-pays, deposits, and account payments. Print receipts.
• Notify clinical or WHA staff of patient arrivals.
• Obtain records, perform data entry, verify/update personal, health, billing and insurance information.
• Scans and updates insurance information into patient accounts.
• Review patient demographics for next-day appointments; note missing information or balances due.
• Ensure reception area and waiting room are clean and neat.
