Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, registers and check-in patients, updates demographics and insurance in the system.
• Answers patient calls, relays messages, and communicates with referring offices.
• Performs check-out processes including copay collections and scheduling follow-ups.
• Monitors patient wait times and notifies staff of delays.
• Opens and routes mail; distributes correspondence and tracks patient data.
• Requests and handles referrals and medical records for new patient appointments.
• Schedules appointments as directed.
• Maintains cash drawer and processes deposits where assigned.
• Contacts insurance companies for registrations and pre-certifications.
• Uses job-related software and systems.
• Travel may be required to support other clinics.
• Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and teamwork.
