Job summary

Quipt Home Medical, Corp. is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver, set up and pick up DME and respiratory equipment for home care patients.

You will instruct patients on proper use and safety, and serve as the primary company representative to customers with a strong focus on service quality. Responsibilities include coordinating with dispatch for efficient routes, maintaining equipment and driving safety, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines;

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Delivery, setup and pickup of DME equipment.
• Experience in HME/DME operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and pick up DME equipment and oxygen products to home care patients and commercial accounts within a defined area.
• Maintain safe driving habits and efficient delivery routes.
• Infectious control and proper handling of equipment and waste.
• Assemble and inspect equipment, prepare setup packets.
• Provide patient orientation on equipment use and safety.
• Collect payments and complete delivery/pickup paperwork.
• Interact with customers as the primary company representative with professionalism.
• Assess home safety and patient needs and report changes.
• Adhere to FDA/OSHA/DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain vehicle and warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Handle shipping, receiving and inventory duties.
