Job summary

QUIPT HOME MEDICAL INC is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up DME and respiratory equipment for home care patients. You will educate patients on equipment use and serve as the company’s primary field representative with a strong customer-service orientation.

Role involves driving, equipment assembly, documentation, and coordination with dispatch. A high school diploma and 2 years HME/DME experience are preferred; a valid driving record is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years HME/DME experience preferred.
• Excellent customer relations, communication and teaching skills.
• Valid driving record and ability to handle deliveries.
• Delivery/stockroom experience helpful; computer skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up and pick up DME and oxygen equipment to home care patients.
• Plan efficient routes with dispatch and maintain vehicle readiness.
• Practice infection control: hand-washing, gloves, and waste handling.
• Assemble and inspect equipment; prepare setup/paperwork packets.
• Provide patient orientation and suggest additional products/services.
• Complete delivery paperwork and collect payments; maintain records.
• Maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform on-call duties as required; document visits.
• Maintain inventory, shipping/receiving and warehouse cleanliness.
• Comply with OSHA/DOT/Medicare policies and company guidelines.
