Job summary

Select Medical in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to greet patients, handle check-out duties, and coordinate scheduling at our outpatient PT center. The role requires excellent front-desk and communication skills and a willingness to support both patient and business aspects of the center.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, some evenings, and a pay range of $16.00–$19.00 per hour depending on experience. Benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year front desk experience.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and about next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain communication with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
