Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Bloomfield, CT outpatient physical therapy center. You’ll greet patients, register them, explain visit expectations, schedule appointments, and handle front-desk duties to ensure a smooth patient flow.

The role includes collecting co-pays, coordinating with insurers and providers, and supporting business operations. A high school diploma is required; preferred frontend experience and scheduling in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of Front Desk experience preferred.
• 1 year of Scheduling Experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain what to expect during their visit.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Communicate with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and handle authorizations and verifications.
