Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Bloomfield outpatient physical therapy center. You’ll greet and register patients, explain visit flow, and verify next appointments to start each visit smoothly.

In this role you’ll schedule appointments by phone and in person, handle co-pays, and coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation services, and operations leaders to keep the workflow aligned.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and next appointment.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translation companies and operational leaders.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
