Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist, Float to support multiple clinics in the Kansas City area. The role is full-time with a weekday 9am-5:30pm schedule and compensation of $19–$21 per hour.

You will greet patients, schedule visits, handle insurance verifications, and coordinate with care teams to ensure smooth patient flow. The position requires at least a high school diploma, one year of front desk and scheduling experience, and offers benefits for full-time staff, including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of front desk experience.
• 1 year of scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with attorneys, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
