Select Medical in Louisville, KY is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a FLOAT, full-time center-hopping role in the greater Louisville area. The position starts at $17/hour, with travel between centers and a requirement for reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience.
• Health Care Experience.
• Preferred: 1 Year of Medical Office Experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone; communicate with attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
