Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in O'Fallon, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk and business tasks in a FLOAT/SPLIT role. The position includes floating to multiple counties and a $19/hour starting pay, with increases based on experience.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle insurance communications, collect co-pays, and verify authorizations. This full-time role offers mentorship, generous PTO, and competitive benefits as part of our outpatient therapy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- FLOATING

Wednesday- O’Fallon South 10 hours.

Will be required to float into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, and St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Compensation:

$19/hour- Increases based on experience.
