Job summary

Select Medical in Sun City is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our outpatient center. You will greet patients, register them, explain visit steps, and assist with scheduling and payments, setting the tone for a positive care experience.

You will coordinate with offices, insurers, and care teams to ensure smooth check-in and checkout. This full-time role offers weekday hours and benefits within our network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Medical Office Experience required.
• 1 year of Front Desk Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain visit expectations.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Coordinate with attorneys, insurance providers, translation services, and leadership teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance verifications.

Position:Patient Service Specialist

Location: 10503 W Thunderbird Blvd., Ste 200, Sun City, AZ 85351

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday

Compensation:$18.00 - $22.00/hour (based on experience)

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co‑pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 Year of Medical Office Experience
• 1 Year of Front Desk Experience

Preferred:

• Insurance Verification Experience
• Health Care Experience
