Job summary

Marshall Medical's Vision Center in Placerville, CA, seeks a Patient Service Representative I to serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. You will support registration, scheduling, billing inquiries, and phone operations while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Under supervision of the Practice Director, you will provide clerical support, assist with orientation of staff, and help other departments as needed to ensure smooth daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge: basic medical terminology, insurance billing, and computer familiarity preferred.
• Skills: detail oriented, interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments.
• Address billing inquiries and assist with billing questions.
• Answer and manage phone calls and front-desk duties.
• Provide daily clerical support and assist in orienting new staff as needed.
