Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our Pinehurst, NC team. You will greet patients, collect insurance and demographic information, schedule appointments, and handle payments at check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

The role supports our patient-centered care approach, requiring a friendly, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work Monday through Friday in a regular full-time schedule. No weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Preferred: 1–2 years in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and visitors.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule patient appointments for established and new patients.
• Collect payments at check-in/out and assist with billing questions.
• Answer phones and relay messages in a timely manner.
• Maintain lobby area and assist with coordinating physician schedules.
