Job summary

Rush Copley Medical Center is seeking a Practice Patient Service Representative to ensure an exceptional patient experience from greeting to checkout. The role handles phone inquiries, patient requests, and scheduling while maintaining accurate communications and records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (some college preferred), be proficient with Microsoft Office, and comfortable using practice management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience with practice management/medical billing software and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Bilingual Spanish abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them through check-in and check-out to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general patient requests; take telephone messages.
• Schedule patient appointments and document conversations and actions taken.
• Develop and follow policies/procedures related to collections and billing as applicable.
