Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a medical office professional to handle front office operations in a physician practice. You will greet patients, manage phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and enter data into the electronic system.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED) with preferred completion of a medical office assistant program and at least 1 year in a medical office setting. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

• Checks out patients and assists them with referral processing and scheduling.
• Collects co-pays and posts charges.
• Processes charge entry and patient balances.
• Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information.
• Explains the patient portal and assists with patient enrollment.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
