Job summary

Solis Mammography, a leader in breast health services, seeks a PRN Patient Service Representative in Garland, TX. You will greet patients, register demographics and insurance in our RIS system, explain forms, and collect payments, supporting a smooth center flow.

This role covers PTO gaps and occasional coverage across nearby centers. Ideal candidates bring healthcare registration or customer service experience, basic cash handling, and comfort with Microsoft Office and RIS software.

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner and act as the first point of contact.
• Completely and accurately register patients including input of demographic and insurance information into our RIS.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion via paper or tablet.
• Process necessary paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and explain benefits when necessary.
• Schedule and manage appointments and reconcile daily payments.
