Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Patient Service Representative (Neurology) to join our front desk team at 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, and 303 W Lake Street, Addison. This full-time role is 36 hours per week with rotating shifts, no holiday eves or rotating weekends.

You will greet patients, schedule tests, verify insurance, register patients in EPIC, and assist with clinic operations while maintaining excellent patient service.

• Valid driver's license if off-site location; maintain automobile liability coverage if using personal vehicle

Position Highlights

• Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Neurology
• Location: 1200 S York Street in Elmhurst and 303 W Lake Street in Addison
• Full Time: 36 hours a week
• Office Hours: Rotating shifts Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No Holiday Eves, On-Call, or Rotating Weekends.
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What You Will Do

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Keyboard and computer skills
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Preferred

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred
• Medical terminology or coding experience
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required
