Endeavor Health in Elmhurst and Addison is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) in Neurology. This full-time role (36 hours weekly) handles front desk tasks, calls, appointment scheduling, EPIC registration, and coordination of tests across multiple sites.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license for off-site duties. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Competitive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Process patient charges, apply insurance, and record payments in the system.

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Neurology

Location: 1200 S York Street in Elmhurst and 303 W Lake Street in Addison

Full Time: 36 hours a week

Office Hours: Rotating shifts Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM, and 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No Holiday Eves, On-Call, or Rotating Weekends.

Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

What you will do

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage.
• Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits.
• Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system.
• Clinic set-up and other office support.

What you will need

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Keyboard and computer skills.
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
• If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Preferred

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience.
• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred.
• Medical terminology or coding experience.
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required.
