Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our front desk team at two Illinois locations. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, greet patients, register new patients in EPIC, and coordinate tests with physicians across locations.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, proficient keyboard and computer skills, and a valid driver’s license for off-site locations. Prior healthcare or office experience is preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Hourly Pay Range:$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - OrthoLocation: 1200 S York Road, Elmhurst, IL and 1331 W 75th Street, Naperville, ILFull Time: 40 hours a weekOffice Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needsWhat you will do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.What you will need:High School Diploma or GED requiredKeyboard and computer skillsA valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
