Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (Ortho) to handle front desk duties at our Elmhurst and Naperville locations. You will answer calls, schedule and register patients in EPIC, verify benefits, and manage charges and payments to keep the clinic operating smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and flexibility for travel between sites. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, not required.

• Keyboard and computer skills.
• A valid driver's license is required if off-site location; maintain automobile liability coverage.
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required.

• Provides front desk coverage under general supervision, answers calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules tests, verifies insurance, processes charges and payments, and supports clinic operations.

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Ortho


• Location: 1200 S York Road, Elmhurst, IL and 1331 W 75th Street, Naperville, IL


• Full Time: 40 hours a week


• Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.


• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required


• Keyboard and computer skills


• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.

Preferred:

• A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience


• Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience preferred


• Medical terminology or coding experience


• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required
