Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The PSR ensures that the patient experience is positive and seamless by managing front desk operations and workflows.

Schedule: Full Time | 40 Hours/Week | Mon-Fri | 7:30am -4pm or 8am -4:30pm
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients; verify identity and manage check‑in/check‑out
Answer phones and perform clerical tasks including Epic charting, scanning, faxing, and document handling
Schedule appointments, procedures, and testing; provide timely estimates and Good Faith Estimates
Monitor provider schedules, communicate delays, and coordinate with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow
Maintain accurate registration, EHRs, and assigned work queues
Handle patient concerns professionally and elevate as needed
Manage daily cash drawer, accounts receivable tasks, and payment plans
Support EPIC updates, departmental initiatives, and clinic communications
Maintain a safe, clean reception area and adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and billing processes
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills, including accurate data entry
Strong customer service skills with a patient‑focused approach
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy policies
Adaptable, professional, and able to work well under pressure
Effective problem‑solving and issue resolution skills
