Job summary

Summit Health Management seeks a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to welcome patients and deliver outstanding service at CityMD locations. The role includes registering patients, coordinating intake and appointments, and ensuring accurate data entry and paperwork completion.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with potential bilingual requirements based on site

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED required.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience in high-volume service environments preferred.
Ability to learn and use computer systems.
Detail-oriented and a team player.
Bilingual skills based on site location.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients.
Organize and coordinate patient intake and other appointments.
Enter/update patient information in the system accurately.
Assist patients with completion of paperwork as needed.
Scan, update and file medical records.
Answer phone calls and patient questions promptly and politely.
Process medical insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as appropriate.
Handle cash and co-payments accurately and provide outstanding service.
