Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical office terminology and front desk procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets visitors, patients and families in a friendly, professional manner and directs them appropriately.
• Maintains efficient patient flow through the registration process and provides excellent service.
• Answers phones promptly, routes calls, takes accurate messages and demonstrates proper etiquette.
• Posts self-pay charges, collects payments and provides receipts; reconciles daily payments.
• Schedules appointments and enters orders for diagnostic tests according to department guidelines.
