Silver Cross Hospital in Lemont, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to coordinate after-visit activities and ensure accurate forms and AVS printing. You will work to communicate payment policies and collect payments for current services and prior balances, while assisting with scheduling follow-up appointments and procedures.

The role includes ensuring pre-visit clearing on the day of service to keep the patient experience smooth, requiring strong customer service and insurance

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Prior experience with insurance preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and resolve issues.
• Ability to use personal computers and select software applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all after-visit activities, including form collection/review/update.

Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of insurance preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff and other customers. Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to us independent thinking, sound judgement and creativity when resolving customer issues. Ability to balance multiple priorities and effectively handle challenging situations. Excellent verbal communication skills.
