Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our Baystate Primary Care and Pediatrics team. You will greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, verify insurances, and manage scheduling and billing processes within a fast-paced clinical setting.

and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Baystate Primary Care and Pediatrics team in Springfield** , MA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, 40 hours a week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30pm
• No weekends, No holidays

LOCATION :

• 3640 Main St.
• Springfield, MA

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• At least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferred
• Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST
• Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other recognition programs for our employees. The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
